These Colt Ryder Black Ladies Riding Wellies from The Original Muck Boot Company are a long neoprene riding boot. Featuring a riding sole and heel and spur rest, these lightweight wellies are ideal for wearing whilst out riding and will keep you comfortable all year round with a comfort range from sub-freezing to 29°C. 100% waterproof, these boots are unbeatable in warmth, comfort and support. Muck Boots are not rubber wellies lined with neoprene but rather a complete 1-piece boot made from top grade neoprene, which is 5mm thick in most boots. This is then given a natural rubber overlay and sole for durability, protection and grip, allowing different styles of boot to be made for different uses - e.g. lightweight wellies and shoes for everyday wear; heavy-duty wellies for digging or field construction. Neoprene Neoprene is known as the material used in maritime survival suits, wet suits and other aquatic gear, but it has many other uses, including waterproof footwear! The thick stretchy material allows to boot to fit any calf comfortably while also giving the wearer great comfort and support for walking and all-day wear. As an alternative, the leg can be rolled down in warmer weather, or allow easier removal. Neoprene is made by mixing rubber with countless tiny air bubbles.
